Έγκριση Σύστασης Μονάδας Τεχνητού Νεφρού στο Νοσοκομείο Καρύστου
Με το ΦΕΚ (τεύχος Β΄5016/12-11-2016) που δημοσιεύτηκε τη Τρίτη 13 Νοεμβρίου ανοίγει ένα πολύ σημαντικό κεφάλαιο για ολόκληρη την Εύβοια, για το «Διόκλειον» Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Καρύστου και κυρίως για τους κατοίκους της Νότιας Εύβοιας: η σύσταση – κατά το πλέον επίσημο τρόπο –Μονάδας Τεχνητού Νεφρού στο Νοσοκομείο Καρύστου.
Ύστερα από στοχευμένες προσπάθειες που έγιναν, εμπεριστατωμένες οικονομικοτεχνικές μελέτες που εστάλησαν, τα Υπουργεία κατά σειρά Οικονομικών, Υγείας και Διοικητικής Ανασυγκρότησης συνυπέγραψαν σε κοινή υπουργική απόφαση την τροποποίηση του Οργανισμού του Γ.Ν. Καρύστου. Πλέον δυο Νεφρολόγοι και τέσσερις Νοσηλευτές προστέθηκαν στον Οργανισμό του Νοσοκομείου και με την προκήρυξή των θέσεών τους, θα αποτελέσουν το δυναμικό που θα επανδρώσει τη μονάδα Αιμοκάθαρσης.
Το Νοσοκομείο Καρύστου σε συνεργασία με το Υπουργείο Υγείας θα ξεκινήσουν άμεσα τις διαδικασίες τόσο για την εκπαίδευση του υπάρχοντος προσωπικού όσο για την έναρξη των οικοδομικών και άλλων απαραίτητων εργασιών.
